CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan flags off 'Swachhta hi Seva' campaign Madhya Pradesh: The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal Under the 'Swachhta hi Seva' campaign today flagged off the 'Swachhta Rath' from the Common House. After the launch, Madhya Pradesh has joined rest of the country in a nationwide sanitation campaign highlighting the commitment towards a "clean, healthy and strong" India. To spread awareness among the people about cleanliness the rath will drive around the state to spread awareness. "Cleanliness cannot be achieved without the help of the public, that is why we are introducing the Swachhta Rath that will cover the whole state to spread awareness," said the chief minister. On the birth date of Mahatma Gandhi i.e on October 2, the cleanliness awareness campaign will end. Chouhan further said that on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, September 17, the state would celebrate ' Seva Diwas'.
