Mumbai: Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Mukesh Ambani has said that the Indian economy could reach $10 trillion by 2030. The company's chairman Mukesh Ambani said this on Monday while addressing RIL'sannual general meeting AGM.

It is worth mentioning here that pm Narendra Modi had earlier set a target of making India an economy of $5 trillion in the next five years. Mukesh Ambani has said that the sluggishness that is visible in many sectors of the country is temporary and the fundamental factors of the economy are strong. He said no one can stop the rise of India's economy and it will touch the $10 trillion mark by 2030. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of making the country a $5 trillion economy by 2024.

He added, "I fully support this ambitious goal. in fact, I am clearly seeing that by 2030, India will become a $10 trillion economy and every Indian will get benefit from it. It is possible to achieve this. It is also necessary." He further added that I am saying this because digital trust will not only increase GDP manifold, but it will lead to growth of all. There is lethargy in many sectors of the economy, but it is temporary. The foundation of the Indian economy is very strong."
