In the year 1970, Mukesh got the second Filmfare Award for the song of Manoj Kumar's movie 'Pehchaan' and then in 1972, he was also given the Filmfare Award for the third time for the song of Manoj Kumar's film. Mukesh then worked mostly with big musicians like Kalyan Ji-Anand Ji, Laxmikant Pyarelal and RD Burman. In the year 1974, Mukesh was given the National Film Award for the song of the movie 'Rajnigandha'. Mukesh also received the fourth Filmfare of his career for the title song of Yash Chopra's movie 'Kabhi Kabhie' in the year 1976. Most of the songs in Mukesh's voice were picturised on Dilip Kumar.
