Political drama has started, Article 370 should be implemented

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi last Friday called for the withdrawal of 3 agricultural laws and since his announcement, many opposition parties have started raising other issues. The list includes the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Article 370 which are being talked about withdrawing. Now, union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has made a statement on this. Recently, he said, "The political drama has started. Somebody says that the CAA should be repealed, the repeal of Article 370 should be abolished. They know very well that CAA is not about taking away citizenship but about granting citizenship to oppressed minorities in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan.''

He also said, "With the repeal of Article 370, a lot of issues have been resolved in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and people have been brought into the mainstream. They are also becoming part of the political process''. The main Muslim organisation Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind on Friday urged the government to withdraw the Citizenship (Amendment) Act as well.

BSP MP from Amroha Kunwar Danish Ali, on the other hand, also called for the cancellation of CAA without any delay. Danish Ali tweeted in which he wrote, 'Repealing 3 agricultural laws is a welcome step. I congratulate the farmers for their willpower to fight, sacrifice and defeat the powerful state power and their fellow capitalist friends. Prime Minister Modi should also reconsider the CAA and repeal it without any delay.'
