Tragic accident: Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed due to fog, 20 passengers injured

Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express has derailed at 7 am today near Nargundi railway station in Cuttack, Odisha. The accident occurred due to a train hitting a freight train. 20 passengers have been injured in the accident. According to the information, 8 coaches of the train have derailed.

According to sources, it has been learned that senior railway officials and the train driver / TTE have confirmed that no passenger was killed in the incident. After receiving information about the incident, relief and rescue work has started on the spot. But soon after getting the information of the accident, the railway accident medical van was sent to the spot. The relief and rescue team says that the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
