MUMBAI: Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve-Patil announced a 50 percent decrease in commuter ticket costs for suburban air-conditioned train services on Friday, in a major move. The minister made the announcement at an event held at the Byculla Station of the Central Railway. The decision to lower ticket prices is intended to increase the popularity of air-conditioned local rail travel among Mumbai commuters ahead of the forthcoming BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation elections. According to a recent survey, 98 percent of commuters thought the AC train ticket prices were too high, and 95 percent wanted more AC trains to run on the suburban parts. Devendra Fadnavis, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bharatiya Janata Party, praised the decision, saying it would benefit Mumbai's 85 lakh daily commuters who travel significant distances between Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Raigad via local trains. 3 girls jumped from a moving train one after the other Driver stops train to take tea, know where the matter is from Passenger fell into the gap while entering on the moving train, and then...
