Murder Mystery, BJP Yuva Morcha Member found hanged from a tree in WB amid Poll voting

Purulia: A 22-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha member was found dead in West Bengal’s Purulia today. The deceased has been identified as Sisupal Sahis. He was found hanging from a tree at Senabona village under Arsha police station in Purulia district. Here it is to be noted that according to reports, Sahis’ father is a deputy pradhan of the Sirkabad Gram Panchayat. The boy was Police have started an investigation in the case. Meanwhile, the family of Sahis alleged that Trinamool Congress (TMC) Cadres committed the murder, reported The Indian Express.

Here it is to be noted that meanwhile, in February this year, Krishnaganj’s TMC legislator Satyajit Biswas was shot dead by unidentified assailants inside a Saraswati puja tent in West Bengal’s Nadia district. Biswas was also in-charge of the party’s organisation for the Dalit refugee Matua community. Last year in May, a BJP worker was found hanging from a tree in Purulia. In June, 2018, another 30-year-old BJP worker was found hanging from an electric pylon.

However, it is worth mention here that Purulia Lok Sabha constituency will go to polls in the Sixth Phase of general elections on May 12. According to the Election Commission’s briefings, the process of filing nomination for Purulia Lok Sabha elections will begin on April 16, which would continue till April 23. Scrutiny will be done on April 24, and the last date for the withdrawal of the nominations will be April 26. The results will be declared on May 23.
