Music Review: Azhar's music is melodious

Emraan Hashmi and Ekta Kapoor, are no doubt the best supplier of the hit musics. As you may remember their hit album in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture. And again, the duo has back with Tony D'Souza's Azhar, you'd almost certainly expect something interesting again.

The album starts well with Bol Do Na Zara. It has a soft sound to it, courtesy composer Amaal Mallik. Together with his singer brother Armaan Malik, they do justify the lyrics Rashmi Virag in his nice love song.

And the composer Pritam who turned quite selectively now a days, composed Itni Si Baat Hain in which Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra lend their voice with the lyrics of Manoj Yadav. And the trio did very well job in the song.

It's a master stroke to bring back one of Sangeeta Bijlani's most popular numbers, Oye Oye - Gazar Ne Kiya Hai Ishaara from Tridev. What doesn't quite work though (and rather surprisingly) is Sonu Nigam and Prakriti Kakar rendition of Amaal Malik's Tu Hi Na Jaane.

Also, The composer-lyricist team of Amaal-Kumaar come up with Jeetne Ke Liye, which acts as a theme track of Azhar.

However, the Azhar songs can not deal with the top positionbut the soothing Imran Hashmi songs are quite melodious and has feel good factors.
