Patna: Bihar DGP KS Dwivedi on Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case today said that 4 girls were reported missing from the shelter home since Dec 15, 2013. 3 girls were reported dead and 2 in hospital. He added that when we checked their record, only one girl was missing. She was found married in Muzaffarpur during the investigation. Talking about medical investigations he said that 42 out of 44 girls living there underwent medical examinations, two were ill. The Medical reports informed that 29 out of 42 girls indicated sexual contact. Police have arrested 10 out of 11 accused. In the ongoing parliament monsoon session, RJD MP Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav raised the issue of Muzaffarpur Shelter Home Rape Case in Lok Sabha. He said 'Ye rashtriya sharm ki baat hai.'(This is the matter of nation disgrace.) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha gave Zero Hour Notice in Rajya Sabha over the incidents of rape at a shelter home in Bihar 's Muzaffarpur. On the other hand Congress MP Ranjeet Ranjan and RJD MP JP Yadav gave Adjournment Motion Notice in Lok Sabha over the same incidents. Worth mention here Medical inquiry has confirmed 24 girls, all minors and one as young as seven, were raped and physically assaulted. It is noted that one of the girls was also allegedly beaten to death and buried at the shelter following her refusal to accept. It should be noted that the state's BJP –JDU alliance Nitish Kumar-led government is under pressure after the upsetting case was underlined in a microblogging website when the tweet by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has been criticizing the state administration for its "failure" to keep an eye on crime. According to the reports of News 18 Muzaffarpur Police is expected to file the charge sheet in the alleged case within a week. Notably, This is the matter of quite grave, child welfare committee members and the head of the organization are accused of their alleged involvement in the crimes against girls in Muzaffarpur shelter home case.
