Riyadh: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the secretary-general of the Muslim World League, met with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs of India, on Thursday in New Delhi. Two officials went over a number of issues that interested them both. Al-Issa also gave a lecture at the Vivekananda International Foundation in New Delhi, where he emphasised Islamic principles that promote the welfare of all people as well as the significance of a pact between civilizations for world peace and harmony.
