Naked Trump Statue Removed from Las Vegas Ahead of US Presidential Election

A massive 43-foot-tall naked statue resembling former US President Donald Trump was taken down less than 48 hours after it was installed near Interstate 15, just north of Las Vegas, Nevada. The statue, titled “Crooked and Obscene,” was made of foam over rebar and weighed over 2,700 kilograms.

Despite generating interest and attracting a small crowd of onlookers who took photos, the statue was not visible from the highway, limiting its exposure to passing drivers. While it garnered some attention, it did not attract the large crowds typical of Trump’s political rallies.

A 32-year-old gas worker who spotted the statue described it as a humorous gesture ahead of the upcoming election, saying, “It just gives a sign of laughter to the world, seeing a big, huge statue of Donald Trump naked.”

Real estate professional Clem Zeroli, 25, and his girlfriend Tommi Alexander, 24, also visited the statue. Clem found it funny but added, “It’s not very respectful. Any publicity is good publicity.” Tommi, who works for her family’s swimming pool business, expressed her support for Trump, noting that their business had struggled significantly over the past two years. “We were doing much better under Trump,” she said, highlighting the challenges they faced.

The statue's appearance comes just weeks before the US presidential election scheduled for November 5. It also coincides with the vice-presidential debate between candidates from both parties, set to take place on October 1.
