Famous actress Meeker Shirodkar is celebrating her birthday on January 22. Meeker is the wife of South superstar Mahesh Babu. After marrying Mahesh Babu, he had made a distance from the films. In an interview, Meeker explained why he had made a distance from movies. In fact, Mahesh Babu did not want a working woman. Meeker had said about leaving movies after marriage-Mahesh was clear that he did not want working women.
However, in an interview in 2018, he said, "I don't regret leaving the film world behind. I was never career-oriented, not like other heroines. Of course, I took my work seriously, but I never asked for work, nor ever demanded popularity or money. I got what came to me." Mahesh Babu and Meeker married on 10th February in 2005. The two had to date each other for 4 years. He kept his relationship very secret.
Meeker said that Mahesh is among those who follow the rules. Even when I had a four-year date, he did not want to open our relationship. The media was making pressure, I should admit it.
