NASA Astronaut Sunita Williams Stranded in Space with Limited Food Supply

Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and her colleague Barry Wilmore are stuck in space due to a technical glitch in the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. The incident has raised several questions, including how long Sunita can survive in space and how much food she has left. According to NASA, Sunita and Barry have enough food to last for 45 days.

The Boeing Starliner spacecraft was launched on June 5, despite a helium leak, and was supposed to return to Earth on June 13. However, due to technical issues, including a helium gas leak and thruster failure, the spacecraft has been stuck in space. Sunita and Barry are currently stranded at the International Space Station.

NASA has assured that the astronauts have sufficient food and water to last for several days. The spacecraft was launched with approximately 200 kilograms of food and supplies. According to NASA, the spacecraft is designed to stay in space for up to 210 days.

The space agency is working tirelessly to resolve the technical issues, and it is expected that Sunita and Barry will return to Earth by the end of July. The spacecraft has enough fuel to last for 70 hours of free flight, which is sufficient for its return journey.
