After getting relief from Delhi High Court, accused Mukesh Singh has again filed an application. Mukesh Singh, an accused in the Nirbhaya case, has been sentenced to death. But to postpone the death sentence, Mukesh Singh, one of the four convicts, filed a petition in Patiala House Court seeking a stay on the death warrant. Additional Sessions Judge Satish Kumar Arora has issued notice to the Delhi Police and the family members of Nirbhaya. The petition will be heard on Thursday. Regarding the matter, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the ruling Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi has sent the file to Lt Governor Anil Baijal recommending dismissal of Mukesh's mercy petition.
