As soon as the assembly proceedings begin in Rajasthan, a resolution against these laws was passed

Proposals went against the law made by the Center in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Saturday. Explain that the resolution has been passed against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Population Register (NPR) and National Citizen Register (NRC). Till now Kerala and Punjab have passed the resolution against CAA only, while Rajasthan is the first in the country Such is the state, which has passed a resolution against all three. After the passage of all the three resolutions, the proceedings of the house were adjourned till 11 am on February 10.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal put the above three resolutions on the floor of the House. He started the proceedings as soon as the House started on Saturday morning. The BJP and National Democratic Party MLAs opposed it. There was a lot of uproar. MLAs shouted slogans against the government. Protesting BJP MLAs came to Vail and started shouting slogans in support of CAA.

For your information, let us tell you that while presenting the resolution in the House, Dhariwal said that the unity and integrity of the country is threatened by the CAA. The CAA violates the basic spirit of the Constitution. There is apprehension about this in a large section of the country. He said that the preamble of NRC and NPR is the same. This is a violation of Article 14 of the Constitution. Census should be done only after withdrawal of new provisions of NPR. The CAA aims to differentiate illegal immigrants on the basis of religion. There is a clear statement in the constitution of the country that India is a secular country. This is the basic feature of the Constitution and it cannot be changed. Such a distinction on the basis of religion is not in accordance with the iconic secular ideals of the Constitution.
