Sidhu's challenge on Majithia's challenge over assembly elections

Amritsar: Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu has challenged Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Vikram Jeet Singh Majithia and said that if he has the courage, he should show it only by contesting from Amritsar East assembly seat. Sidhu said Majithia's decision to contest from two seats shows that he is scared. Please inform that Majithia has filed a nomination from Amritsar East as well as Majitha.

Sidhu said that the people of Amritsar are with him. They have full faith in their victory. He is not going to contest from two seats under any circumstances. But it seems that Vikram Jeet Singh is not sure of his victory, that is why he is contesting from two seats. Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has fielded his brother-in-law Vikram Jeet Singh in the election fray against Sidhu. He claims that he will break Sidhu's pride.

Vikram Jeet Singh Majithia is also embroiled in controversies at the moment. At present, he is making rounds of the courts in the drugs case. Sidhu has already put him in the dock. Sidhu is the kingpin of the illegal drug trade in Punjab, Vikramjit Singh. Sidhu even says that if he goes, he will put Vikram Jeet Singh in jail. Sidhu says that Majithia has done the job of destroying the future of Punjab under the guidance of Akali leaders.
