Srinagar: Now that two major political parties in Kashmir have come together after the Central government issued a security advisory to Amarnath pilgrims and tourists to leave Kashmir as soon as possible. Both the main parties National Conference (NC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) have criticized the government's move. In a tweet, National Conference President and former CM omar Abdullah said, "It appears that this unexpected order is not in place for Amarnathji Yatris and/or Amarnath pilgrims. Or, it shows the real fear of a major terrorist attack on tourists. It is not going to be a daring atmosphere in the Valley. His remarks came after the Jammu and Kashmir administration has advised Amarnath pilgrims and tourists to return to the valley soon in view of intelligence inputs about the terrorist attack on pilgrimage and tourism. Omar Abdullah tweeted, "What's right? What do you think a Government order will not allow tourists to go back to the valley? After seeing this order, which tourist will visit the place. The airport and highway will be filled with people leaving the valley. PDP President Mehbooba Mufti accused the centre of trying out technicalities like 'military power' and 'psychological warfare' in the state. "The private order to set up a store of supplies (of essential goods) came and there was a message in the minds of the people," he tweeted. Now, such reports will create fear. So far, the Government of India has adopted technicalities like military strength and psychological warfare in respect of Jammu and Kashmir. Nobody will work.
