Sushant case: NCB files 1200 page charge-sheet, 33 people accused

Mumbai: The NCB, which is investigating the drugs angle in the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has filed a charge sheet of 12000 pages in the special NDPS court on Friday. In this charge sheet, 33 people have been accused, including actress Rhea Chakraborty. Also, 200 people have been made witnesses. According to the report of ANI, this charge sheet is 12000 pages in hard copy, while in digital format it is 50000 pages. On June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself, which is being investigated by the three central agencies of CBI, NCB, and ED.

The NCB had six months to file a chargesheet based on the first arrest made in September. The NCB had filed a case in August after an investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Sushant Singh death case surfaced in a personal WhatsApp chat between Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and some employees of Sushant Singh Rajput. And then started investigating drugs in this case.

The NCB has charged them all for procuring and supplying drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. In its 6-month investigation, the agency raided several locations in Maharashtra and uncovered the drugs racket operating in the city and within Bollywood. NCB had questioned several stars including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, and Arjun Rampal in the investigation into the drugs case.
