NCB summons Arjun Rampal in Bollywood Drug case

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been continuously taking action ever since the drugs angle surfaced in the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The agency is continuously raiding the celebrities belonging to the cinema world. In the same sequence, on Monday, NCB raid the house of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal.

NCB officials have issued summons to the actor for questioning. The actor has been called for questioning on 11 November. His electronic gadgets have also been confiscated. It is not clear what the NCB got in action, but according to sources, Rampal's driver is being questioned in custody. Earlier, the NCB on Sunday arrested Bollywood producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala's wife after seizing cannabis at Juhu residence.

NCB Mumbai Regional Director Sameer Wankhede has said, "We have arrested Firoz Nadiadwala's wife under the NDPS Act. Further investigation is going on.” On Monday, she was taken for a medical test. Since the drug connection in the Sushant case came to light, the NCB has started to open up the film world about linking to drugs.
