Ram Nath Kovind the former Bihar Governor is the National Democratic Alliance presidential nominee for the upcoming presidential elections and yesterday he met the veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani at his residence in New Delhi. He had already met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president Amit Shah. On Monday, the NDA announced Kovind name as its candidate for the Presidential elections which are going to take place on July 17. The Prime Minister Modi reached out to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh to seek Congress' support for Kovind following the announcement.
