Australia's fiery batsman Chris Lynn stay out of T20 series

A neck injury has ruled Australian batsman Chris Lynn out of Australia's Twenty20 International Series against Sri Lanka on Thursday, February 09. For the benefit, the concerned team authorities have replaced the sufferer with Adelaide Strikers opener and Big Bash leading run-getter Ben Dunk for the three-match series who scored 364 runs from just 222 balls in BBL'2017.

The exasperation of the injury last week has drowned the hopes that Lynn had in order to play for the first t20 in Melbourne on February 17.

The physiotherapist of the Australia Cricket team Kevin Sims worried "Chris resumed some light training as part of his rehabilitation but was still unable to function at the level he needs to play international cricket due to his existing neck injury."

He added, "Chris will be seeing a specialist later this week and from there we will have a better understanding of the ongoing management, along with the return to play time frames."
