Giant video streamer Netflix has announced a partnership with Airtel, Videocon D2H, and Vodafone. This partnership is announced with the main aim to stream the videos to the television. As per the reports, the company is planning to open its office in Mumbai soon. Carrier billing partnership is signed with Vodafone. However, the aim behind the partnership with Airtel is not yet confirmed. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said, "Viewing of our shows has gone up on the Jio network, and in fact on all of the networks. So we’re launching partnerships today with Airtel, Videocon, Vodafone and we’ll have more of these around the world."
