News of formation of Covid-19 monitoring committee was rejected by Ministry of Home Affairs

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs has rejected news coming in media reports regarding the formation of Covid-19 Monitoring Committee. The Ministry has said that this is completely wrong. Home Ministry spokesperson Ajay Bhalla said that no such committee has been set up by the Home Ministry on the coronavirus, to avoid being misled by fake news and rumors.

Earlier in notification it was claimed that a monitoring committee has been set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the coronavirus, this news was being spread fiercely on social media. An email address was also given in it, on which ordinary citizens can give their feedback regarding SoPs published by MHA. In addition, the names of 25 members were also mentioned in it, who claimed to be part of the Corona Monitoring Committee.

The country has created a ruckus by Corona. More and more corona infection cases are being reported every day in the country. After America and Brazil, most patients are coming to India every day. Today, for the first time, more than 27 thousand new cases of corona have been reported in 24 hours. The number of infected people in the country has now crossed eight lakhs.
