Next few months would be a very tough period for US: Joe Biden

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden will have to face many challenges together.  The biggest challenge for Biden is  Vaccine Administration in the U.S.Biden believes that it will take years and not months to vaccinate Americans if the vaccination continues at the current rate under Trump's rule. 

The president-elect has called the U.S. vaccination exercise as the greatest operational challenge that the U.S. has ever faced. He offered a bleak assessment of his predecessor's performance on vaccination program and kept the expectations realistic. Joe Biden said, "The next few months would be a very tough period for our nation and it's going to take all the grit and determination we have as Americans to get it done."

Five more cases of the ‘more transmissible' coronavirus strain, discovered in the United Kingdom, have been detected in India. A total of 25 people who returned to India from the UK have tested positive for the 'more infectious' Covid-19 strain.
