This player is out of Australian Open Game due to injury

Japan's tennis star Kei Nishikori has withdrawn from the first Grand Slam Australian Open of the year due to an elbow injury. Tennis Australia has said in a statement that Nishikori has withdrawn his name from the Grand Slam and ATP Cup to be played at Melbourne Park. The ATP Cup is the new men's international tournament that starts next week which is being played in Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane.

Nishikori said, "Unfortunately I had to withdraw from the ATP Cup and the Australian Open. I and my team decided today because I am not fully fit to play in a high-level tournament."

When asked about this, he said, "This decision has not been taken easily, because the Australian Open is my favorite tournament. I will continue to work hard with my team so that I can return to the court as soon as possible. Thank you all for your support." Nishikori last reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. Apart from him, Andy Murray of Great Britain also told on Sunday that he has withdrawn from the Australian Open starting on 20 January.
