Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has on Wednesday quipped on the demand of Congress' interim president Sonia Gandhi and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati for the country's highest civilian honour 'Bharat Ratna'. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat had on Tuesday demanded Bharat Ratna for Sonia and Mayawati. When the press people wanted to know Nitish Kumar's opinion on this, he quipped, 'Everyone has the right to demand, they had the government earlier, today they are demanding, they had already got it. It is worth mentioning that former Uttarakhand CM and Congress National General Secretary Harish Rawat had tweeted that both Congress president Sonia Gandhi and BSP chief Mayawati are strong political personalities. Their politics can be agreed or disagreed. Rawat wrote in his tweet, 'No one can deny that Soniaji has given a new height and dignity to the social dignity and social dedication and service of Indian women. Mayawati Ji has instilled a wonderful faith in the minds of the afflicted people over the years.' The Government of India should decorate the two with Bharat Ratna this year.
