Naseeruddin Shah praises Dilip Kumar’s performances but says he ‘didn’t do enough’

Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar passed away last week at the age of 98. Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah has condoled the death of Dilip Kumar. Naseeruddin himself is a huge fan of Dilip Saheb. But when it comes to Indian films, his opinion is different and frank. Recently, where he has mentioned this while writing an article.

According to The Indian Express, Naseer said Dilip Kumar was a big star of India but did not make much contribution in taking Hindi films or new actors forward. The actor wrote in his article that Dilip Kumar's performance was 'dramatic, he did not follow the norms'. He further wrote in his article that Dilip Kumar had established a paradigm in Indian cinema through his performance. Which many stars had tried to imitate but were caught imitating them.

Writing for Dilip Kumar, Naseeruddin Shah has written that even after doing so much work in movies, he did not make any major contribution to films. The place he had reached did nothing but act, but he was more involved in almost social work in his heart.
