'Desire to live is over..', doctor committed suicide by sending a message to his wife

New Delhi: A doctor working in a private hospital in Noida's Sector-128, adjacent to the country's capital Delhi, committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance. Before the suicide, the doctor had sent a message on his wife's mobile that now his desire to live has ended. Police have sent the body for postmortem and started investigating the case.

According to the report, 36-year-old Dr. Aditya Prakash, who works at JP Hospital in Sector 128, lived in the hospital hostel. He swallowed the poisonous substance around 10 pm on Wednesday night. He was admitted to the hospital in a very critical condition, where he died during treatment.  

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the doctor had sent a message to his wife on her mobile before consuming poison. In it, he wrote that 'there is no desire to live anymore.' His wife reported the matter to an acquaintance living in Noida. After this, the police were informed about it, but by the time the police reached the spot, the doctor had consumed poison and had lost his life.  At present, the police have sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
