Noida: Massive fire at plastic factory, 14 fire tenders rushed to spot

New Delhi: A major fire broke out at a plastic factory in Noida's Sector 3 on Friday afternoon. This led to a stampede on the spot and on receiving information, half a dozen fire engines reached the spot and started efforts to douse the fire.  

According to preliminary information given by the fire department, no casualty has been reported so far due to the fire, although the firefighting operation is going on. After this, a rescue operation will be launched. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. At present, no loss of life or property has been reported in this accident. At the same time, some people present on the spot said that a short circuit could be one of the reasons behind the fire. However, an official statement is yet to come.

Chief Fire Officer Arun Kumar Singh said that a fire broke out in a plastic factory located in C14 of Sector 3 on Friday afternoon and the fire fighting work is still going on and all the high officials and fire brigade personnel including all the high officials are also present at the spot.
