New Delhi: Rajiv Suri, chief, and CEO of a well-known mobile company Nokia, has resigned from his post. Rajiv of Indian origin was associated with Nokia for the last 25 years. Experts related to the case say that Rajiv Suri will relinquish his current post on August 31, 2020. Experts say that Pekka Lundmark will take over his position in place of Suri. Pekka will start his tenure from 1 September 2020, following Rajiv's withdrawal this year. Presently, Lundmark Espoo is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fortum, a major energy company based in Finland. However, he insisted on implementing a concrete succession plan for this. Nokia's board of directors has handled a structured process for CEO succession and is working closely with Suri to develop internal contenders and identify external contenders.
