Kathmandu: A few minutes after taking off from the tourist city of Pokhara in Nepal, the wreckage of the Tara Air plane that crashed in the Himalayan mountainous region has also been found. The Nepalese Army has found the crashed Tara Air aircraft at Sanosware of Thasang-2 in Mustang. During this, all 22 people on board the plane lost their lives. However, the bodies of only 16 people have been recovered so far. The rest of the bodies have also been identified. This has been confirmed by the Nepali Army. There were also 4 Indians on board the plane. Earlier, due to bad weather and cloud cover, it has become difficult to locate the aircraft. The aircraft had taken off at 10.15 am from Pokhra, located 200 km east of the capital Kathmandu. Four Indian nationals were also on board: Rescue teams along with soldiers and helicopters are engaged in locating the possible site of the incident. The aircraft was supposed to land at Jomsom airport in the western mountainous region, but the tower lost contact with the aircraft in the sky over Ghorepani on the Pokhara-Jomsom air route. The Twin Otter 9N-AET aircraft of 'Tara Air' was carrying four Indian nationals, two German nationals, and 13 Nepalese passengers along with three Nepalese crew members. The Canadian-made aircraft was on its way from Pokhara to the famous tourist town of Jomsom in central Nepal. The flight journey between the two cities usually takes 20-25 minutes. The list of passengers has also been revealed by the airline, in which the Indians have been identified as Ashok Kumar Tripathi, his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar (Tripathi), and their children Dhanush Tripathi and Ritika Tripathi. The family was currently living in Thane near Mumbai. The crew members are being led by Captain Prabhakar Prasad Ghimire, Pokhara airport information officer Dev Raj Adhikari was quoted as saying. Utsav Pokharel as co-pilot and Kismi Thapa as flight attendants were part of the crew of the aircraft.
