Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh recently said that he has no fear of Enforcement Directorate (ED) or anyone else. Indeed, he says, "The entire Congress is united with the farmers and the Center should listen to them and accept their demands."
In his recent statement, he accused Akali Dal's Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Badal and Harsimrat Kaur Badal of doing politics on the issue of farmers. Apart from this, he also included all major opposition parties like Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party and Manohar Lal Khattar of BJP in this list. In his statement he said, 'The opposition has made fun of the fight of the farmers, who are sitting on the streets in the cold to get their rights. I have been going to the courts for 13 years because of a case filed against me by Badal. But I am not worried about ED. I can go to the courts and fight for another 13 years. "
Further he said, "I urged him to take the President-approved Bills." By the way, you would know that he met Amit Shah for the third time on Thursday. In that meeting, he congratulated Amit Shah for becoming the Home Minister. However, Amarinder Singh targeted the Akalis for having a double opinion on the agricultural laws and said in a live video statement on Facebook that 'Badal has publicly taken a U-turn on the issue'.
