The firm will set up 5000 units of Mahakumbh Cardboard headsets at shops in Ujjain to provide an immersive experience to pilgrims of the famous Mahakal temple. The mobile app called 'TMVR- VR of India' is available for free on Google Play. Android smartphone users who have got VR headsets can download the app to experience it from anywhere in India. This app should work fine with Google Cardboard as well.

"At the Kumbh Mela, all pilgrims would want to see the Mahakaal temple and witness Bhasam Aarti in it. However, only 150 people per day are allowed during the Bhasam Aarti. While TVs will be installed across Kumbh Mela, they are not capable of providing an immersive experience," said the company in a statement.
