Defender Sandesh Jhingan and striker JJ Lalpekhlua have been included for the 18-day camp for the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier match against Qatar of India football team. This match against Qatar will be played on 26 March in Bhubaneswar. According to reports, Jhingan was out six months ago due to a knee injury while JJ suffered a knee injury in June last year. In Bhubaneswar, 23 players have been called for the first phase of the training camp starting on March 9, while 20 other players will join the camp on March 16 after playing the semi-finals of the ISL.
