Lucknow: Rakhi Singh, one of the main litigants seeking regular darshan of Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri in Varanasi, had written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu seeking euthanasia, accusing other litigants of propaganda and harassment. However, now she has changed her decision. In a letter to President Murmu, she alleged that there was a false propaganda to withdraw her name from the trial. However, no such statement was made by me nor any information was issued by me or my uncle Jitendra Singh Visen. She accused four other plaintiffs and their lawyers of defaming my family. According to media reports, after this letter of Rakhi Singh, Raja Bhaiya's father Uday Pratap Singh spoke with her. He explained to Rakhi Singh and said that he will now fight the case of Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri on her behalf. After this assurance given by Raja Bhaiya's father, Rakhi Singh changed her decision of euthanasia. Rakhi's uncle and Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh chief Jitendra Singh Visen said that Uday Pratap Singh came to his house and assured that he would handle the case related to Gyanvapi. Rakhi Singh had alleged in her letter that an attempt was being made to declare her a traitor in Hindu society. In her letter, Rakhi Singh has asked the President to wait for a reply by 9 am on June 9. "If there is no order from the President, then whatever decision will be taken after that will be her own," the letter said. At the same time, four other plaintiffs and advocates have termed all the allegations as baseless. Slogans of 'Khalistan Zindabad' were raised in the Golden Temple!
