Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi urges the citizens of Odisha to contribute their suggestions for the state's Annual Budget for 2024-25 through various digital platforms. The Finance Department will incorporate these inputs into the budget-making process. The Chief Minister emphasizes the government's commitment to being people-centric and encourages public engagement in budget formulation. Through a dedicated web portal, email, WhatsApp, and SMS, citizens can share their proposals and opinions to shape the upcoming budget. In a bid to enhance transparency and inclusivity, the Finance Department has launched a dedicated Budget web portal https://budget.odisha.gov.in/ for structured suggestions. Additionally, suggestions can be emailed to odisha.budget@gov.in and shared via WhatsApp at (+91) 9438161111. Social media platforms like X (@FdOdisha), Facebook (@FinanceOdisha), and Instagram (@fdodisha) are also avenues for submitting suggestions. The public is invited to participate in the budget-making process until 5th July 2024. Civil society organizations, advocacy groups, and stakeholders are encouraged to seize this opportunity to contribute to the state's budgetary decisions. Amid expectations for the Mohan Majhi government's inaugural budget, sources from the BJP suggest a focus on bolstering the state's economy while reflecting the populace's aspirations.
