Odisha Govt approves 6 industrial projects worth Rs 854-Crore

BHUBANESWAR: The government of Odisha on Friday approved six industrial projects worth a total of Rs. 854.17 crore in investments for the state.

The projects from various sectors that would create employment possibilities for 2,167 persons in Odisha have been cleared by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), which is led by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena.

As per officials, four of these projects received investment intents at the Made in Odisha Conference 2022. They would be built in the districts of Bolangir, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, and Khurda.

Three projects in the infrastructure sector, one project in the steel industry, one project in the IT & ESDM sector, and one project in the food processing sector have all received approval from the government.

Transtek Coal Mines Private Ltd's request to build a multimodal logistics park in Khurda with an investment of Rs 380.25 crore received approval from the SLSWCA. A request from Nirmal Wires Private Ltd. for Rs 200 crore was also approved by the panel.

Similarly, Bhubaneswar Logixpress Warehousing Llp intended to set up a warehouse cum logistics park, investing Rs 78.42 crore, while Aegis Logistics Ltd proposed to establish a greenfield tank storage facility for liquid and gas products, investing Rs 70 crore.

Also, the government approved the proposals of OVO Farm Private Ltd. and Secureyes Techno Services Private Ltd. to establish a Global Cyber Security Delivery Center (totaling Rs (Rs 50.50 crore).
