Prices of petrol and diesel increases, know today's rate

Government oil companies of the country have increased the price of petrol and diesel on Sunday. Today, the oil price has increased for the 14th consecutive day. Petrol rate has been increased by 28 paise per litre. The price of diesel has increased by 29 paise per litre. After this increase, the price of a litre of petrol in Delhi has been increased to Rs 83.41, while a litre of diesel is going to cost Rs 73.61. This is the highest rate for petrol and diesel since September 2018.

Two years later, Petrol crossed 83 in Delhi: where OPEC (OPEC +) countries have decided to increase production by 5 lakh barrels in January, which has increased the price of crude oil internationally. This is the first time in more than 2 years when the price of petrol has gone above Rs 83 in Delhi. This is the highest price of petrol and diesel since September 2018.

Let's check the rates of other metros: According to the website of Indian Oil (IOCL), petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have increased to Rs 83.41, Rs 84.90, Rs 90.05 and Rs 86.25 per liter respectively. Apart from this, diesel prices in metros have also increased to Rs 73.61, Rs 77.81, Rs 80.23 and Rs 78.97 per liter respectively.

Price changes every day at 6 o'clock: It has been learned that petrol and diesel prices change at six o'clock every day. New rates come into force from 6 in the morning. After addition of excise duty, dealer commission and other things in the price of petrol and diesel gets almost doubled.
