NEW DELHI: The Indian women's hockey team stopped world number two team Australia from a draw in a match played on Sunday. The team raked in a 2-2 draw against Australia in the round-robin league match of the Olympic Test event in Tokyo. Vandana Kataria (36th minute) and Gurjit Kaur (59th minute) scored goals for India in the second match of the tournament. For Australia, Caitlin Nobbs scored the goal in the 14th and Grace Stewart scored in the 43rd minute. India beat hosts Japan 2-1 in the opening match on Saturday. The world's 10th-ranked Indian team aggressively launched the match. He played the same game as Australia's aggressive hockey, which led both teams to a penalty corner.
