Danger! Omicron cases spike in In This country, Many Deaths logged

As per top official, the Omicron variant of Covid-19 is responsible for a  increase in new infections in Bangladesh.

"A big spike in infections is being caused by the Omicron variant of Covid-19, which is gradually replacing Delta throughout the country," Nazmul Islam, a spokesman for the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), told the media on Sunday. He claimed that 73% of persons here with the Omicron variant have a runny nose, 68% have a headache, 64% have fatigue, and 60% have sneezing in a health alert on Sunday afternoon concerning the symptoms of the Omicron variant.

He also stated that 60% of the patients had a sore throat and 44% have a cough. "The rising trend in fresh Omicron cases would not cease if we don't follow good hygiene rules," he warned.

According to the latest official data, the number of new Covid-19 cases in Bangladesh increased by 10,906 in the last 24 hours, bringing the overall number of cases to 1,685,136.
