On 3-day visit to India, Bhutan's PM Dr Lotay Tshering to meet PM Modi today

Prime Minister of Bhutan Dr. Lotay Tshering has landed in  the national capital New Delhi on Thursday on a three-day official visit to India.The visit takes place during the Golden Jubilee year of the establishment of formal diplomatic ties between the two nations.Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale called on the visiting dignitary Thursday evening.

Dr Lotay Tshering  was received warmly by MoS Finance Shiv P Shukla on arrival in Delhi for a 3-day State Visit at the invitation of PM Narendra Modi on the occasion of India Bhutan 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

DD news reports suggested that Dr Tshering will be accorded ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.Bhutanese Prime Minister will lay wreath at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat. He will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to further boost strategic cooperation between the two neighboring nations.

Soon after, the Bhutan Prime Minister will be called on by various union ministers including External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
