Curiosity and discussion about Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next film "Shikara" are in full swing. Recently, the makers had organized a screening in New Delhi where they performed '30 Minutes' from their film in front of real Kashmiri Pandit refugees and were greatly appreciated. And now, the makers of Shikara are set to organize a special screening in Mumbai on January 29 for real Kashmiri Pandit refugees who had to leave their homes during the mass exodus of the 1990s. The event will feature Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vijay Singh of Fox Studios, Abhijat Joshi, lyricist Irshad Kamil as well as the film's lead actors Adil Khan and Sadia. 'Shikara' reveals the untold story of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley of the 1990s shot with 40,000 real migrants from Jagati and other camps. Not only this, the film also includes the actual footage of the migration. Since the release of the first trailer, curiosity is at its peak with the film's theme and story. Recently, the film's second trailer has been released by the makers, and both trailers have been widely appreciated for its jarring part of the story and history. The producers of 'Shikara', Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rahul Pandit attended the prestigious Jaipur Literature Festival 2020 and were part of a special panel discussion at the event. During this time, the panel members were also seen interacting with the audience present there. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film "Shikara" is set for release on February 7, 2020.
