One rioter hoped to sell Nancy Pelosi's laptop to Russian spy agency: FBI

A group of Trump supporters on January 6  stormed the US Capitol to protest legislators confirming electoral slates from battleground US states they thought were invalid. FBI criminal complaint revelled that a young woman who has taken part in the storming of the US Capitol reportedly stole a laptop belonging to top Democrat Nancy Pelosi and hoped to sell it to a Russian spy agency.

The complaint, filed late Sunday  seeks the arrest of Riley June Williams of Pennsylvania on grounds including "violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds." In the complaint in US District Court in Washington. An FBI agent said Williams was seen near the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in photos and videos.  A witness alleged that Williams planned to send the laptop to a friend in Russia to sell it to the SVR foreign intelligence agency.

A group of Trump supporters on January 6  stormed the US Capitol. Five people died in the riot, including one police officer as well as one Air Force veteran and Trump supporter who was shot dead by police.
