Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to reopen schools for class 6 and 7 students. Schools will be resumed from November 15, 2021. The state government has recently held a high-level meeting in which it was decided to reopen schools. However, these classes will be held for only 3 hours, as well as schools have been directed to follow all Corona-related guidelines issued by the Department of Public Education. School hours for class 6, 7 students will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Odisha government has decided to conduct classes both online and offline. If students want they can also join the online classes, while offline classes have not been made mandatory. Students can come to school only with the consent of their parents. The parent will have to give a consent letter for this The Odisha Information and Public Relations Department tweeted that the state government allows schools to reopen schools for the academic year 2021-21 with respect to students of class VI and VII from November 15, 2021. Earlier, the state government has started schools for classes 8 to 11 on October 21, 2021. And, students of classes 10 and 12 started attending offline classes on July 26, 2021.
