Odisha government announces, corona victims will be given financial assistance of 15 thousand

Bhubaneswar: After a positive case of coronavirus was found in Odisha, the state CM Naveen Patnaik has announced that a person coming from abroad will be provided help of Rs 15 so that he can remain in isolation. If the person returning from traveling abroad does not follow it, then he will also be punished under the IPC section.

The Odisha government has asked any person coming from abroad to register themselves within 104 hours or 24 hours of visiting the website. Giving information about the Odisha case, the official in Bhubaneswar has said that the infected person is a researcher and has recently returned from Italy. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1,53,517 people from 135 countries have been infected with the coronavirus and more than 6000 people have died.

Giving information, the officer said that the 33-year-old patient came to Delhi from Italy on March 6 and reached Bhubaneswar by train on March 12. Subroto Bagchi, the chief spokesperson of the state government on Coronavirus cases, told the press that the patient has been admitted to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment. He told that, "His condition is stable and no serious symptoms have been found so far."
