Bhubaneshwar: Three quintals seventy kg ganja being smuggled from Orissa in a Volvo bus have been seized by the police. Police stopped the bus at Jitouli Cut and arrested four people with ganja. The bus has also been seized. The police received intelligence from the informant that Ganja was being smuggled from Orissa to the Volvo bus. Inspector Kankarkheda Tapeshwar Sagar along with the police force laid siege to Jitouli cut and stopped the bus. About three quintals and 70 kg of ganja were found in the bus after searching. The police arrested four accused and took the bus to the police station. The accused have been identified as Arjun Saini resident Phalavada, Vinay resident Rajpura, Ankit resident Gursana and Naresh resident village Marora Amroha. The accused told police interrogation that Volvo had been smuggling ganja in the bus for the last year and a half. Ganja was filled with 66 packets and hidden under the bus seat. According to the police, the bus in which Ganja was being smuggled is that of Sunil Kumar, a resident of Ghaziabad. Police say the bus owner was smuggling ganja from the bus with a hefty amount. SSP Ajay Sahni has announced to give 20 thousand rupees to reward the team.
