Pakistani military chief meeting with business leaders, speculation intensifies

New Delhi: The army is known as the most powerful unit in Pakistan. There is no other institution stronger than the army. There are various types of institutions to say but the army dominates. In the 72 years of the country's existence, the army has been ruled there for about 36 years. Very little has been heard about the direct intervention of Pakistan's army in the economy, but according to recent reports, Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa has recently held a meeting with top businessmen regarding the country's economy.

According to the report of the news agency Bloomberg, Bajwa held these meetings in the heavily guarded military offices in Pakistan's economic capital Karachi and Rawalpindi. Bloomberg has quoted sources aware of the development that during the meeting, Bajwa sought to know from the traders what steps should be taken to bring the economy back on track and what would be the factors driving them to invest. . According to sources, immediate steps were taken after some meetings and necessary orders were given to the top officials. Sources said Bajwa appeared concerned about building trust in the business community. However, the spokesman of the Pakistani Army has refused to give any statement on this.
