Pak reports 105 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, death toll crosses 9k

ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus has been wreaking havoc all around the globe for almost one year. Asian Country Pakistan is also facing the crisis due to the pandemic. Pakistan on Wednesday recorded the highest single-day toll With 105 deaths in 24 hours. Pakistan is currently fighting a new wave of coronavirus cases, with a total of 4,45,977 infections and more than 9,000 deaths reported so far.

The southern Sindh province reported the highest number of fatalities as 58 people died of corona in 24 hours, followed by 30 deaths in Punjab, 12 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two each in Islamabad and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, and one in Balochistan. 

Talking about India, the nation has reported 22,890 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday, taking the total number of infections to 99,79,447. The number has remained below 30,000 for the fifth consecutive day today. Also, with 338 deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,44,789. 400. With 31,000 people were declared to have recovered on Thursday, the total number of discharged cases reaches to 95,20,827, while the number of active cases has fallen to 3.13 lakh.
