Pak PM may soon participate in World Economic Forum, will hold bilateral meeting with Trump

Islamabad: Pak PM Imran Khan is set to participate in the upcoming session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. This conference is to begin on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. The Pakistani Foreign Office announced this. He is also going to interact with corporate leaders under the Pakistan Strategy Dialogue.

According to information from sources, Prime Minister Imran is going to have a bilateral meeting with many leaders of the world including US President Donald Trump. It is also being said that his meeting with Trump will be the third leadership-level dialogue between the two leaders since Khan's US visit in July 2019. Earlier in September, the two leaders met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Their meeting is scheduled to take place in the Gulf region between Iran and America.

Imran Khan will share Pakistan's vision and achievements: According to the statement of the Foreign Office, Imran Khan will share Pakistan's vision and achievements on economy, peace and stability, trade and business opportunities, among all his engagements in Davos.

White House also confirms the meeting: For your information, let us tell you that the White House has also confirmed the Khan-Trump meeting. According to the White House, Donald Trump will be meeting with heads of Iraq, Pakistan, Switzerland and the European Union during this period.

The conference will run till Thursday: It is also learned that according to the statement of the Foreign Office, Professor Klaus Schwab, the founder and executive chairman of WEF, invited Imran Khan to appear on the stage.
