Karachi man kills wife for posting videos on TikTok

Islamabad: A Karachi man uploaded a video on his own TikTok from Pakistan. Ishaq killed his wife as well as his mother-in-law in Sherpao colony in Karachi's Landi area on Sunday. According to SHO Gauss Bakhsh of Qaidabad police station, Ishaq used to get angry with his wife going out of the house without permission and talking to people on the phone.

According to Pakistani media reports, the deceased wife has been identified as Reshma. Reshma was fond of posting videos on TikTok. The wife had moved to stay on her own after a dispute between her husband and wife. It is alleged that Ishaq reached there on Sunday and fired at his wife and mother-in-law. Both died in the incident. Police have registered a case after recording the statements of eyewitnesses.

Ishaq has been absconding since committing the crime. Police are searching for him. On February 2 this year, four people were shot dead near Anklesaria Hospital in karachi's Garden Town area. All four of them also used to post videos on TikTok. They were identified as Muskan, Aamir, Rehan and Sajjad.
